Supplied to C. de Salamanca, Madrid, Spain; sold to Joaquin Palacios; car raced by Rodolfo Bay; 1956 Oporto race meeting (GP?), Portugal, 8th; 1957 Galapagar hillclimb, Spain, broke record; autumn 1957 advertised tor sale; later displayed at Le Mans Museum; later (in 1975) owned by Serge Pozzoli; sold to Ralph Lauren (New York); sold shortly after to Bob Rubin (New York) and used on 1989 Mille Miglia; 1989 auctioned by Christie's at Monte Carlo and sold for £1,037,383 to Jeremy Agace & Ray Bellm (UK); discovered to have incorrect windscreen, fin, headrest & rivets, with certain interior items also incorrect; complete mechanical overhaul and above items corrected by John Pearson; car painted Green; competed in 1990 Mille Miglia & raced by Bellm; Agace interest purchased by Bellm; Ray Bellm (Hampshire, UK).
