According to the registration shown on the car, in the photo dated 2008-10-19, this should be XKC 021, but is it? Information in Jaguar Sports Racing Cars indicates 021 is now registered YSV 242.

Reported in Jaguar Quarterly summer 1990 (P.O.S.):
'Another C-Type, 021 has arrived in the UK from Switzerland. This was the car originally sold to Bill Holt in September 1952; registered PUG 676 it was raced by Dick Protheroe in the mid-fifties before passing through a number of owners prior to its arrival with John Hallhan in Australia during 1966. There it was equipped with a D-Type head and 45mm carburettors (and, subsequently, XK150-type disc brakes have been fitted). This basically still very original car is now owned by David Lomas and by the time you read will have run in this year's historic Millie Miglia'

I owned XKC021 from March 1960 till it was sold via Performance Cars, London, to a client in Australia. It was reg PUG676 from new till it left England. Was resprayed light met. blu for Bill Mackay to use in Scottish Championships in 1960 after engine failure on his Aston DB3S. I had it resprayed dark blue after this. It had 3 twin-choke Webers then.
It also had a specially made V-shaped windscreen and a good hood, both easily dismountable for racing or good weather. It was the best road car I have ever had.

XKC021 retained the reg PUG676 during the 1980s in Australia despite being repainted bright green. It was subjected to a comprehensive restoration sometime in the mid '80s. It was owned by my late father, Dr Bill Marshall, and ran in Australian historic race meetings in Australia during 85-87 as well as the Mille Miglia in 1987. It was the most spectacular creation I have ever seen and experienced.

XKC021 PUG 676: As a previous owner I have photoes dating from 1960-ish. I would be happy to supply copies (by email) of these pix to the current owner. She met my son at Windsor castle last season. Initial contact via email from the current owner welcome.

Car to participate in the Mille Miglia race May 14-17, 2015, Jaguar's 80th anniversary.
Three C-types will be driven by five-time Le Mans winner and sports car driver Derek Bell, Jaguar vehicle integrity chief engineer Mike Cross and Royal Automobile Club motoring committee chairman Ben Cussons.
Ian Callum will drive the D-type "Long Nose" that finished second at Le Mans in 1957. British TV chef James Martin will pilot the second D-type and classic-car expert Simon Kidston will drive a third.
